Product Description
Decorative Tempered Glass is a kind of pre-stressed glass, to improve the strength of the glass, typically using a chemical treatment or physical hardening hardening treatment method, form a pressure in the glass surface, the glass surface exposed to external stress when the first offset, thereby improving the carrier ability to enhance glass itself wind pressure resistance, cold and heat resistance, impact resistance and so on.
● Definition of semi-tempered glass
The machining principle of semi-tempered glass is similar with tempered glass. The heating temperature is about 650℃ (less than the heating temperature of tempered glass), and the cooling speed is slow. The strength of the semi-tempered glass is lower than tempered glass and is about twice that of ordinary glass. However, the broken piece is large when it is broken and similar to annealed glass, and it cannot be used as safety glass. Compared to tempered glass, the flexibility of the semi-tempered glass is smaller, and its thermal stability is better than that of annealed glass.

◆Semi-tempered glass has no disadvantage of spontaneous explosion and widely used in glass curtain wall, greenhouse, heated housing, partition and decoration industry.
● Feature of tempered glass
1) Safety
Tempered glass is hard to break. Even broken, it will become lots of mini pieces which will not cause hurt to people.
2) High intensity
The strength is 3-5 times of ordinary annealed glass;
3) Heat stability
Tempered glass also has excellent stability under large difference in temperature (within 300C).
4) Customized
Sizes are produced per customer request, once tempered, cannot be cut down.
