Our fire-retardant WPC co-extrusion deck trim moulding is engineered specifically for outdoor and semi-outdoor applications where fire safety meets extreme weather exposure. The advanced co-extrusion technology features a high-density UV-stabilized outer shell (0.5mm cap layer) bonded to a fire-retardant, termite-proof WPC core.
This dual-layer construction provides Class B fire rating, permanent termite and rot resistance, and 360° UV protection—all without any painting, sealing, or maintenance. The realistic wood grain embossing on the cap layer delivers natural aesthetics while the core provides structural integrity and fire performance. Ideal for balcony edges, deck perimeters, outdoor stair trim, and exterior accent moulding.

What is the advantage of co-extrusion over standard WPC?
Co-extrusion adds a 0.5mm ASA cap layer that provides superior UV protection, scratch resistance, and color stability compared to standard WPC. The cap layer never needs painting or sealing and maintains its appearance 3-5x longer than un-capped WPC. The fire-retardant core provides safety while the cap layer provides aesthetics and weatherability.
Can this be used as a structural deck board?
This product is designed as trim/fascia moulding, not structural decking. For structural deck boards, we offer a separate WPC decking product line with higher load-bearing capacity and appropriate span ratings. Please request our decking catalog.
How does it handle extreme temperatures?
The co-extrusion construction provides excellent thermal stability. The ASA cap layer has a heat deflection temperature of 85°C and remains impact-resistant to -40°C. Thermal expansion is approximately 0.04% per 10°C—standard installation gaps of 5mm per 3m length accommodate this movement.
Is the wood grain texture slippery when wet?
The embossed wood grain texture provides R10 slip resistance (DIN 51130), which is suitable for level outdoor surfaces even when wet. For sloped applications or pool surrounds, we offer an R11 deep-embossed texture option.
