The double-twist mechanism prevents unraveling if an individual wire breaks.

Over time, sediment accumulation within the voids encourages plant growth, promoting natural vegetation recovery and integrating the structure seamlessly into the surrounding ecosystem.

Engineered for harsh, submerged, and acidic environments, our gabion boxes offer three distinct wire treatment levels:
Heavy Galvanized Steel Wire: High-zinc coating providing robust protection against rust in neutral water conditions.
Galfan Coating (95% Zinc + 5% Aluminum / 90% Zinc + 10% Aluminum): Superior durability with up to three times the corrosion resistance of standard galvanized coating.
PVC/PE Polymer Coating: An additional protective layer over galvanized or Galfan wire, offering maximum defense against UV radiation, chemical pollutants, marine environments, and mechanical abrasion.
4. Flat-Packed Transport & Fast Assembly
Gabion boxes are shipped folded flat and compressed into high-density bundles to maximize shipping container space and reduce freight costs. On-site installation requires minimal specialized equipment or skilled labor: simply unfold, align, lace the edges, and fill with suitable stone ballast.

Gabions are baskets made of double twisted Hexagonal wire mesh, as per ASTM A975-97.
Gabions are filled with stones at the project site to form flexible, permeable, monolithic structures, such as retaining walls, channel linings, Base Bottom, Flood Barrier etc.
The steel wire used in the manufacture of the gabion box is 95% zinc + 5% Al Wire. A PVC coating is then applied to provide added protection for use in polluted environments where soils or water are acidic: in salt or fresh water, or wherever the risk of corrosion is present.
The PVC coating has a nominal thickness of 0.50 mm, Grey and Green Color are the most popular.
The gabion is divided into cells by means of diaphragms positioned at approximately 1m centers. In order to reinforce the structure, all mesh panel edges are selvedged with a wire having a greater diameter.
