The Schneider ELAU VDM01U50AA00 is a PacDrive M MC-4 single-axis servo drive corresponding to technical model MC-4/11/05/230. The VDM01U50AA00 is intended for PacDrive M machines that use a 220-240 VAC supply and require one coordinated servo axis. Typical applications include smaller packaging machines, horizontal and vertical form-fill-seal machines, labeling systems, conveyor axes, printing machinery and compact automated handling equipment.
This 230 V family must not be confused with MC-4 models designed for 380-480 VAC. Confirm the incoming mains system, motor voltage, rated motor current and machine wiring before replacement.
Verify the complete commercial reference, MC-4/11/05/230 technical model, firmware suffix, hardware revision and controller project. Confirm whether the installed machine uses a single-phase or three-phase supply and check the protective devices, mains filter, cable cross-section and grounding arrangement.
