The B&R 8AC123.60-1 is an ACOPOS plug-in module for connecting incremental encoders and SSI absolute encoders to compatible ACOPOS servo drives. It provides differential signal transmission, encoder monitoring and selectable encoder supply voltage.
The module supports incremental square-wave signals as well as SSI absolute-position data. It is particularly useful when an ACOPOS axis requires external position feedback, machine position measurement or connection to an SSI-based absolute measuring system.

Confirm whether the installed feedback device is incremental or SSI, and verify supply voltage, SSI coding, word width, signal frequency, DSUB pin assignment and encoder cable. Incorrect encoder supply selection may damage the feedback device.
The 8AC120.60-1 is intended for EnDat 2.1 and sinusoidal incremental feedback. Other ACOPOS modules are available for HIPERFACE, resolver, BiSS and EnDat 2.2 interfaces.
