Product Overview

The Danfoss VACON 0100-3L-0105-5 is a catalog-listed base reference from the VACON 100 INDUSTRIAL variable frequency drive family. It is designed for three-phase 380-500 VAC industrial motor-control systems.

The drive provides a continuous low-overload current rating of 105 A and is positioned for approximately 55 kW motor operation at 400 VAC. For constant-torque or higher-overload applications, the corresponding rating is approximately 87 A and 45 kW.

Compatible System and Applications

The VACON 0100-3L-0105-5 is suitable for conveyors, compressors, mixers, extruders, material-handling systems, process machinery, pumps, fans and production equipment using compatible three-phase motors.

Selection must be based on the motor full-load current, load torque, acceleration cycle and required overload capacity. Constant-torque machinery or applications with repeated overload should be evaluated using the 87 A high-overload rating rather than only the 105 A low-overload rating.

Compatibility with the existing PLC, digital and analog signals, communication network, braking system and external protective circuits must also be confirmed.
