IAI RPCON-42P is a single-axis pulse motor controller unit for the modular IAI ROBONET system. It is designed for a matching IAI RCP-series electric actuator using the 42P motor configuration. Communication between the controller unit and the machine PLC is managed through an installed ROBONET Gateway R unit.
RPCON-42P is primarily used for maintenance and restoration of existing ROBONET installations. The complete controller model, connected actuator and gateway arrangement must be checked carefully because RPCON units with different motor codes are not automatically interchangeable.

Related IAI family model: RPCON-42P-H. This H-suffix model shares the RPCON-42P base designation but represents a different controller and actuator configuration. RPCON-42P-H is included for related-model coverage only and is not automatically interchangeable with RPCON-42P.
Confirm the complete model code, presence or absence of the H suffix, connected actuator, motor rating, gateway type, firmware, connectors and stored parameters before replacement.
RPCON-42P can be used in ROBONET-based assembly machinery, transfer systems, packaging equipment, inspection stations, indexing mechanisms and automated handling applications. Multiple controller units can be connected through the ROBONET gateway to support a coordinated production process.
Before removing the original controller, record its position in the ROBONET assembly and photograph the controller label, actuator nameplate and gateway configuration. Back up position data and operating parameters whenever communication with the existing system remains available.
Do not replace RPCON-42P with RPCON-28P, RPCON-56P or another motor-code version solely because the housing and connectors appear similar. The motor and actuator configuration must match the installed mechanical axis.
After replacement, confirm gateway recognition, home-return direction, stroke limits, positioning data, actuator movement, alarm status and machine safety circuits.
Please provide photographs of the complete RPCON-42P label, actuator nameplate, ROBONET gateway and installed controller assembly when requesting a quotation. Product condition, included connectors, firmware, parameter support, warranty and delivery time should be confirmed before ordering.
