The SGM7J-04AFA21 is normally used with a compatible 400 W Sigma-7 SERVOPACK such as an SGD7S-2R8A capacity. The complete drive model must be selected according to the controller interface, required safety functions, encoder support and machine communication system.
Typical applications include electronic assembly machinery, semiconductor equipment, compact packaging systems, inspection machines, printing equipment, indexing mechanisms and robotic positioning axes.
The output shaft does not have a keyway. Confirm that the installed coupling uses a suitable clamping, compression or shrink-fit arrangement. It should not be mechanically replaced by a keyed-shaft version without checking shaft engagement and coupling compatibility.
Verify the complete suffix, encoder type, shaft diameter, shaft length, flange, connectors, SERVOPACK capacity, firmware and motor parameter file. This version has no holding brake and requires a separate holding method for suspended loads.
