IAI RCON-GW-PRT-FU2 is a PROFINET IO gateway unit for the modular IAI RCON controller system. It provides industrial Ethernet communication between a compatible PROFINET PLC and the RCON driver units installed in the actuator-control assembly.
The gateway manages network data for multiple controlled axes but does not drive actuator motors directly. The complete RCON system requires compatible driver units, power components, fan units and matching IAI electric actuators.

RCON-GW-PRT-FU2 is suitable for automated assembly equipment, transfer systems, production cells, packaging machinery, inspection stations and material-handling systems using a PROFINET-based PLC architecture.
The gateway can coordinate several actuator axes while exchanging operating commands, position information, completion status and alarms with the PLC. Actual data allocation and control modes depend on the installed driver units and RCON configuration.
Before replacement, back up the complete RCON configuration and record the PROFINET device name, IP settings, PLC hardware configuration, axis assignments, module order and fan-unit arrangement. Retain the correct GSDML file and document the original PLC data mapping.
The PRT suffix identifies the PROFINET IO version. RCON-GW-PRT-FU2 must not be replaced with EP EtherNet/IP, CC CC-Link, EC EtherCAT or another communication model without modifying the PLC and network configuration.
The FU2 suffix identifies a specific fan-unit installation configuration. Confirm the complete model, fan-unit quantity, driver modules, firmware and control-panel layout before purchase. After installation, verify PROFINET recognition, axis communication, home-return operation, alarm handling and safety functions.
Please provide photographs of the complete gateway label, RCON controller assembly, fan units and PROFINET connectors when requesting a quotation. Product condition, included end covers, GSDML requirements, firmware, configuration support, warranty and delivery time should be confirmed before ordering.
