The extended length of a 300 mm transducer creates different installation constraints from shorter PC versions. Check for adequate clearance through the complete machine cycle, including surrounding guards, hoses and moving structures. The mounting pins should allow free articulation without axial binding, and the linkage must not exceed the sensor’s mechanical stroke at either travel limit.
Record both retracted and extended pin-center distances before replacement. A sensor with similar appearance but a different stroke cannot be corrected merely by rescaling the controller if its physical length prevents proper installation.
Verify the excitation voltage, signal polarity, resistance configuration and analogue input scaling from the machine documentation. If the existing control system was calibrated for a shorter stroke, installing a 300 mm version may alter the displacement represented by a given output voltage. Any calibration change should follow the machine manufacturer’s commissioning procedure.
The PC-M-0100 0000X000X00 F003846 has a 100 mm stroke and a substantially shorter mounting envelope. The LT-M-0200-S 0000X000X00 F003538 provides 200 mm travel but uses a profile-style installation rather than PC rod-eye mounting.
