Rogers PORON 4701-43-07118-04 P is a 3.0mm thick polyurethane foam engineered as an EV battery cushion pad. It provides excellent compression set resistance to maintain stable counter-pressure during cell expansion cycles. Featuring a 2 mil PET film carrier, it prevents stretching during high-speed automated assembly, ensures precision die-cutting, and delivers superior electrical insulation for maximum battery pack safety.
Exceptional Pressure Management:Delivers a flat Compression Force Deflection (CFD) curve, maintaining a stable, predictable counter-pressure during battery cell expansion to prolong cell life.
Low Compression Set:Retains its original thickness and mechanical properties under continuous stress and elevated temperatures without collapsing or aging.
Dimensionally Stable PET Carrier:The integrated 2 mil PET film prevents the soft foam from stretching or distorting, ensuring high precision during automated web processing and die-cutting.
Superior Electrical Insulation:The PET liner provides excellent dielectric strength, mitigating the risk of high-voltage arcing or short circuits within the pack.
EV Battery Cell Cushioning:Placed between lithium-ion cells (Cell-to-Cell) to absorb expansion and contraction forces during charge and discharge cycles.
Module Isolation Pads:Used as module-to-module compression pads in EV/HEV battery packs to isolate vibration and fill structural gaps.
