a. It is forbidden to start the fire at the oil pan and the intake pipe

If the engine is ignited and started at the intake pipe, the ash and hard debris generated by the combustion of the material will be sucked into the cylinder, causing the intake and exhaust valves to close loosely and accelerating the wear of the cylinder.

b. Prohibit the use of glow plugs and flame preheaters for a long time

The heating element of the glow plug and the flame preheater is a heating wire, which consumes a lot of power and generates a large amount of heat. Long-term use can damage the battery due to rapid discharge, and can also burn out the heating wire. Therefore, the continuous use time of the glow plug should not exceed 1min each time, and the continuous use time of the flame preheater should be controlled within 20s.

c. It is forbidden to add oil directly to the cylinder

Adding oil to the cylinder can seal the boost and increase the temperature and facilitate the cold start of the diesel engine, but the oil cannot be completely burned, which is easy to produce carbon deposits, which weakens the elasticity of the piston ring and reduces the sealing performance of the cylinder. It will accelerate the wear of the cylinder liner, cause the power of the engine to drop, and make it more difficult to start, so the oil cannot be directly added to the cylinder.
