QSB6.7-G3 135KW Generator Drive Engine Assembly

The QSB6.7-G3 is an original new 6.7 litre six cylinder diesel engine assembly prepared specifically as a generator drive unit. Every unit leaves our workshop as a complete power pack — engine, radiator, fan, flywheel housing, air cleaner, filters, 24V starter and charging alternator are all fitted and aligned before the engine goes to the test bench. It is supplied as a direct replacement power unit for 150–160 kVA 50Hz generating sets operating on construction sites, rental fleets, telecom base stations, hospitals, cold storage and factory standby power.

Why This Configuration Is Different

• Genset specific rating, not a re-purposed machine engine. Fuel pump setting, injection timing and governor map are calibrated for continuous 1500 rpm operation, so the frequency stays within ±0.5% from no load to full load.
• Original new assembly. Cylinder block, crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons and cylinder head are all factory-new components. No rebuilt, no re-manufactured and no refurbished parts are mixed into the assembly.
• Single side service access. Oil filter, fuel filter, water separator and dipstick are grouped on one side, which shortens daily checks inside a soundproof canopy to under five minutes.
• Cooling package matched to the rating. Radiator core, fan diameter and shroud are sized for 50°C ambient, so no derating is needed in tropical markets.
• Dyno record per serial number. Each engine ships with an 8 hour run-in sheet and a printed power / torque / fuel curve that matches the serial number on the nameplate.
• Coupling documentation included. SAE 3 flywheel housing drawing and flexible coupling selection table are supplied so the alternator can be mounted without guesswork.

Installation Notes

1. Align the flexible coupling to the alternator within 0.2 mm run-out before tightening the base bolts.
2. Keep at least 150 mm clearance between the radiator and the canopy wall so hot air can escape.
3. Fill with 15W-40 API CH-4 or higher oil and bleed the fuel line at the filter head before the first start.
4. Change the first oil charge after 50 running hours, then follow the 500 hour interval.
5. Run a load bank test at 25%, 50% and 100% load before hand-over to the end user.

Quality Control Before Shipment

• 8 hour run-in on the test bench in 25% / 50% / 75% / 100% load steps
• Fuel pressure, oil pressure, exhaust temperature and blow-by data logged and kept on file
• Photo set of the finished unit emailed with the packing list before dispatch

Packing and Delivery

The unit is bolted onto a steel frame inside an export plywood crate, wrapped with stretch film and packed with desiccant bags. Volume is about 4.5 CBM per unit for the radiator fitted version. Stock units are dispatched within 7 working days; production orders of 10 units and above take 20–25 days. Fumigation certificate and LCL sea worthy packing are available on request.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the engine new or rebuilt?
It is an original new assembly. We do not use rebuilt blocks or refurbished rotating parts in this model.

Can I get the 60Hz version?
Yes. The 1800 rpm variant is available with 150 kW prime output. Please state the frequency when ordering so the correct governor map and pulley set are fitted.

Does the quotation include the alternator?
No. This offer covers the engine assembly only. A matching brushless alternator and control panel can be quoted together with the engine if required.

What else can this power pack drive?
Besides 150–160 kVA generating sets, the same assembly is used as a stationary power unit for water pumps, air compressors, chipping machines and small marine auxiliary sets.
