Haemorrhoids, also called piles, are swelling of the veins in the lowest part of the rectum and anus. Sometimes the walls of these blood vessels extend so thinly that the veins bulge and get irritated. Infection can cause pain and discomfort.

Types of Hemorrhoids :

Most hemorrhoids are mixed type and advanced in stage by the time patient seeks medical help.
