The disc stack centrifuge efficiently separates solids and one or two liquid phases in a single continuous process using extremely high centrifugal forces. Denser solids are forced outward against the rotating bowl wall, while less dense liquid phases form concentric inner layers. The interface position where these phases meet can be precisely adjusted to ensure maximum separation efficiency.
The disc stack configuration provides additional surface settling area, dramatically accelerating the separation process. The specific configuration, shape, and design of these plates enable continuous separation of diverse solids from single or dual liquid streams. Concentrated solids can be removed continuously, intermittently, or manually, depending on centrifuge type and solids volume requirements.
