Tropical Juice Processing Separation Decanter Centrifuge Mango Passion Fruit

A tropical juice plant rarely runs one fruit for the whole year. It runs mango in one season, passion fruit in the next, and often guava, papaya or pineapple in between. Buying a dedicated machine for each stream is expensive and leaves most of the capital idle for months. The LWS520 is designed as a single separation platform that is re-configured between fruit campaigns by changing three parameters and one wear item, rather than by rebuilding the bowl.

The machine shares the proven 520 mm bowl geometry and the torque-adaptive back drive of our standard decanter range, but adds a dual-configuration inlet, a quick-change weir set and a recipe memory in the control system. Selecting a stored recipe restores the differential speed, pond depth, feed rate alarm band and CIP sequence for that fruit. In practice a full product changeover, including flush and verification, takes under one hour, which makes a single LWS520 a realistic alternative to two dedicated machines.

• Dual Inlet Configuration: A reversible feed accelerator supports both high-fiber mango puree and low-solids passion fruit juice, so the same rotor serves two very different separation duties
• Recipe Memory Control: Up to twelve fruit recipes are stored in the PLC, each restoring differential speed, pond depth, torque limits and CIP parameters with one operator action
• Quick-Change Weir Set: Colour-coded weir plates are swapped without draining the bowl, letting the pond depth move from a fiber duty to a clarification duty in minutes

• Continuous Operation: Solids are ejected throughout the run, keeping capacity at 18 to 22 tonnes per hour without the batch stops that a press or a filter-based line requires
• Remote Diagnostics: The control cabinet includes an Ethernet port for remote support, allowing Huading engineers to review trend data and adjust separation settings without a site visit

The LWS520 suits mid-size tropical juice and beverage concentrate plants that process two or more fruit types per year and want one separation asset instead of a fleet of underused machines. It is used in mango puree lines, passion fruit nectar plants, guava and papaya pulp production, and in mixed tropical blend facilities where the fruit schedule changes every few weeks.

It is also a good fit for co-packing operations, where the production calendar is dictated by customer contracts and changes with little notice. Because the recipe memory handles the setup work, operators who are not separation specialists can switch the line safely, and the remote diagnostics link lets Huading support staff confirm settings before the first batch of a new campaign runs.

Shipping configuration is a steel-framed export case with the bowl locked, the control cabinet packed separately in a foam-lined crate, and a documentation package containing general arrangement drawings, electrical schematics, a utility list and the recipe configuration sheet.

Factory testing covers both configurations: a mango pulp run and a passion fruit juice run, each documented with capacity, vibration and clarity data. The warranty is 24 months on the rotating assembly and 12 months on wear parts. Huading also supplies a commissioning engineer for the first campaign and a one-day training session that covers recipe set-up, CIP routine and wear inspection intervals.
