Our soda lime float glass sheets are made from an ultra-clear, low-iron soda-lime silicate formula (approximately 70% SiO₂, 14% Na₂O, 7% CaO, 6% Al₂O₃).
Produced by the float process, they yield exceptionally flat, transparent panels with extremely high optical clarity.
This glass offers excellent visible light transmittance (typically ≥91%) and robust surface hardness (>9H pencil hardness),
making it ideal for protective cover glass on industrial displays, touchscreens, and other panel applications.
Standard sheet sizes are around 1300×1100 mm with thicknesses from 0.25 mm up to 2.0 mm (larger or thicker sheets available on request).
Glass can be cut, chamfered, polished, or drilled per customer requirements.
For higher-strength requirements, the glass can be thermally tempered or chemically strengthened (ion-exchange),
achieving surface compressive stresses up to 600–650 MPa for greatly improved impact and scratch resistance.
Its combination of high transparency, strong durability, and the cost advantages of large-area float production
make soda lime glass a highly cost-effective transparent panel solution for industrial projects worldwide.
