1.1. Unscrew the pen cap and install the disposable blood collection needle onto the needle holder holder. Cover the pen cap.
1.2. Adjust the needle penetration depth. Rotate the adjustment sleeve to align the indicator mark with the needle penetration depth marking number. The "5" position represents deep needle penetration, and the "1" position represents shallow needle penetration.
1.3. Use alcohol to scrub and disinfect the surface of the skin at the blood collection site.
1.4. Pull the pen holder back until you hear a "click" sound, and be ready to strike.
1.5. Hold the pen body, place the front end of the pen cap tightly against the side of the fingertip, and lightly press the trigger button.
1.6. Unscrew the pen cap, remove the disposable blood collection needle, insert the needle tip into the blood collection needle protective cap, and handle it centrally.
Can blood glucose sampling needles be reused?
Strictly speaking, blood collection needles should not be used repeatedly. Once a blood sampling needle is used, its tip is no longer sharp, and it will become increasingly blunt as the number of uses increases. When collecting blood, pain may increase due to the blunt tip of the needle.
