The principle of vacuum blood collection is to pre draw a covered blood collection tube into different vacuum degrees, and use its negative pressure to automatically collect venous blood samples. One end of the blood collection needle is inserted into the human vein, and the other end is inserted into the rubber plug of the vacuum blood collection tube. Different colors indicate different uses.
Human venous blood is drawn into a blood sample container through a blood sampling needle under negative pressure inside a vacuum collection vessel. Under a single venous puncture, multi tube collection can be achieved without leakage.
1. Ordinary serum tube (virology):
Red cap, without additives in the blood collection vessel, used for routine serum biochemical, blood bank, and serological tests.
2. Quick serum tube:
The orange red head cap contains a coagulant in the blood collection vessel, which can activate fibrin proteases and turn soluble fibrin into insoluble fibrin polymers, thereby forming stable fibrin clots. The rapid serum tube can coagulate the collected blood within 5 minutes and is suitable for emergency serum biochemical testing.
