1. Thermal Stress Behaviour

Thermal stress in service comes from temperature gradients, differential expansion and oxidation. Pure nickel's stable face-centred-cubic structure avoids brittle transitions, while annealed ductility of 35% or more lets the tube accommodate differential expansion instead of cracking. Physical anchors: melting point 1435-1446°C, Curie temperature 358°C, thermal conductivity 70.2 W/m·K (Ni200). For sustained high-temperature service, the low-carbon Ni201 grade is the selection; for maximum purity, N4 (Ni+Co ≥99.9%).

Changzhou DLX Alloy Co., Ltd. has manufactured nickel alloys since 2002 in a 12,000 m² factory rated at 1,200 tonnes per year. Tube production runs in-house from extrusion and cold drawing through annealing and final inspection — a single chain of custody that controls wall uniformity and thermal-stress behaviour from billet to finished tube. Because the plant processes nickel alloys exclusively, cross-contamination is engineered out at the source.
