Ni70Cr30 is an austenitic nickel-chromium alloy suitable for temperature applications up to 1250°C. High chromium content (30% in average) provides very good life time, especially in the furnace applications.
Ni70Cr30 is characterized by high resistivity, good oxidation resistance, good ductility after use and excellent weldability. Alloy is not subject to “green rot” and is particularly well suited for reducing and oxidizing atmospheres.
Ni70Cr30 resistance wire is often used as heating elements in heat treatment furnaces to heat metal workpieces for heat treatment. It provides stable heating temperature and uniform heating effect, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the heat treatment process.
During vacuum heat treatment processes, Ni70Cr30 resistance wire is commonly used as heaters in vacuum furnaces to heat workpieces in high-temperature and low-pressure environments. It has excellent corrosion resistance and can work stably in harsh working environments for long periods.
Ni70Cr30 resistance wire is also commonly used in various annealing furnaces as heating elements for annealing metal materials. It provides proper heating rate and temperature control to ensure the quality of annealing.
