Machined parts inherit the rod they are cut from: Nickel 201 rod in 8, 10, 12 and 20 mm sizes has to be consistent from the first cut to the last. Produced from Ni201 (UNS N02201, ≥99.0% Ni) with a clean, machinable structure and low electrical resistivity of 0.096 μΩ·m, our rod is supplied with custom diameters confirmed against your drawing — 10 kg MOQ, 3-7 day delivery for small lots, 7-15 days for standard production, from our ISO 9001 certified nickel-only line.
Rod is produced in 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm and 20 mm diameters as specified, with custom diameters and lengths per drawing. Diameter tolerance and length are confirmed before production and locked in the batch record.
Rod diameters are chosen for the finished part: 8-20 mm covers common turned and milled components, with machining allowance confirmed against the drawing. Custom diameters and lengths are produced per order.
Ni201 (≥99.0% Ni, ≤0.02% C) is specified for machined parts that see elevated temperature in service; Ni200 (≥99.2% Ni) is the standard grade for general machining. Grade selection is confirmed against the application.
Rod is supplied from verified melts with per-batch composition analysis, so every part machined from the bar inherits the same chemistry — no surprise inclusions or property drift along the length.
