Flash dryers operate with continuous high-temperature airflow and high-velocity powder streams. To prevent hot gas from escaping or leaking back into the drying tower, this specialized rotary valve is widely deployed at the bottom of cyclone collectors, spray dryers, flash dryers, and fluid bed processors across the food, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.
Materials discharging from drying towers carry residual heat that can cause standard valve components to expand and seize.
