Floating Dredge Hose is a high-performance solution developed for continuous slurry transport in demanding dredging environments. It combines advanced rubber technology with reinforced structural layers to provide exceptional durability, flexibility, and buoyancy.
The hose features a wear-resistant inner lining capable of handling abrasive materials such as sand, gravel, and silt while maintaining consistent performance over extended periods. The integrated closed-cell foam structure ensures stable flotation without absorbing moisture, minimizing pipeline stress and enhancing operational efficiency.
In a large-scale river dredging project aimed at improving flood control capacity, a 12,000 DWT cutter suction dredger was deployed to remove accumulated sediment along a 10-kilometer river section. The project required continuous slurry transport under variable flow conditions and frequent pipeline repositioning.
