The Floating Pipeline is a premium-grade deep-water marine slurry transport system engineered for ultra-demanding offshore dredging, deep-sea mining support, and strategic marine infrastructure projects. It is constructed with a high-strength multi-layer reinforced synthetic carcass combined with an advanced ultra-abrasion resistant rubber inner lining, ensuring exceptional durability under extreme hydraulic pressure and continuous heavy-duty slurry flow.
The system integrates a deep-water optimized buoyancy architecture designed to maintain stable floating performance in harsh ocean conditions, including strong swells, deep currents, and long-distance offshore routing exceeding several kilometers. It is capable of transporting high-density slurry, mineral mixtures, and dredged seabed materials with maximum efficiency and minimal energy loss.
In a deep-water offshore mineral extraction support project in West Africa, the operation required continuous transport of high-density mineral slurry from offshore extraction platforms located approximately 2.8 kilometers from the processing terminal. The marine environment was extremely challenging, featuring strong Atlantic swells, unpredictable underwater currents, and highly abrasive slurry composition.
After deploying the Hongruntong Marine Floating Pipeline system, the entire offshore transport line achieved stable continuous operation under 24-hour production cycles. The deep-water buoyancy system maintained consistent elevation across all pipeline segments even under high wave energy conditions. The project recorded a 41% improvement in slurry transport efficiency and a significant reduction in maintenance-related downtime.
