The Floating Pipeline is a flexible marine slurry transport system designed for river dredging, estuarine engineering, and complex inland-coastal waterway projects. It is constructed with a multi-layer reinforced synthetic structure combined with a high-performance abrasion-resistant rubber inner lining, ensuring stable operation under continuous sediment flow and variable hydraulic conditions.
The system integrates an engineered buoyancy configuration that allows the pipeline to maintain stable floating alignment even in environments with strong currents, floating debris, and fluctuating water levels. It is specifically designed for projects where water conditions are highly unpredictable, including river bends, tidal estuaries, and delta regions.
In a large-scale river dredging project in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam, continuous sediment accumulation had severely impacted navigation channels and local shipping routes. The project required 24-hour dredging operations across multiple river branches with highly unstable water conditions.
Traditional pipeline systems used in earlier stages frequently experienced blockage, misalignment, and floating instability due to debris interference and rapid water level changes. These issues led to frequent shutdowns and reduced dredging efficiency.
After implementing Hongruntong Marine Floating Pipeline system, the entire dredging network achieved significantly improved stability and flow continuity. The project achieved a 37% increase in dredging efficiency and significantly reduced unplanned maintenance interruptions.
