Operation Guidelines
Pre Operation Preparation
Initial Cleaning : Factory applied anti rust oil must be thoroughly flushed before the first use. Disassemble, clean, and relubricate all mating surfaces.
Line Purging : Always blow out debris from air and water hoses before connecting them to prevent internal cylinder contamination.
Pressure Balancing : Maintain the flushing water pressure at 0.1 to 0.15 MPa lower than the working air pressure to prevent water backflow into the motor.
Safety & Lubrication Guidelines
Constant Lubrication : Fill the line oiler before starting. Running the drill dry is strictly prohibited and will void the component warranty.
Oiler Inspection : Check the oiler housing frequently. Replace immediately if any structural cracks appear. Refill the oil reservoir every hour during continuous shifts.
Explosion Prevention : In underground environments with combustible gas hazards, never use low-flashpoint lubricants. Avoid idling the machine to eliminate friction spark risks.
Operator Safety Storage
PPE Requirements : Pneumatic drilling generates high noise, vibration, and dust. Operators must wear certified hearing protection, anti vibration gloves, and dust masks.
Pinch Breakage Alert : Stay alert to sudden drill rod breakages. Avoid positioning body parts between the rock face, the drill body, and the pneumatic air leg.
Shutdown Routine: Always shut off the water supply first, letting the machine run dry for 30 seconds to purge remaining moisture and prevent internal rust.
Long-term Storage : For extended storage, dismantle the unit, wash all components, apply a thick layer of protective oil, and store in a dry, temperature controlled environment.
