Working Principle of Dual Drilling Modes
Top Hammer Type
First, assemble the casing reaming crown bit with the outer casing pipe. Relying on the percussion and propulsion power of the rig drifter, drive the outer casing pipe to penetrate and complete the laying of the first section casing. Next, connect the inner drill bit with the drill rod, and follow the inner cavity of the outer casing pipe for synchronous drilling until the first section drilling operation is finished. Then integrate the drill rod and outer casing pipe as a whole, and push the whole assembly forward via the rig drifter until the outer casing reaches the preset drilling depth. When drilling into stable bedrock, no additional casing pipe is required, and the drill rod can be directly used for continuous deep drilling to the target depth.

DTH Type
Initially , fix the casing reaming crown bit and outer casing pipe, and use the rig's percussion power to drive the outer casing pipe to advance and complete the first section casing laying. Subsequently, install the DTH hammer on the matching drill rod, and conduct synchronous follow up drilling inside the outer casing pipe to finish the first section hole forming. After that, connect the drill rod and outer casing pipe tightly, with the rig providing propulsion and the DTH hammer delivering high frequency percussion to drive the drill rod and casing pipe forward together until the outer casing is in place. For subsequent bedrock drilling procedures, conventional professional drilling tools can be used to continue drilling to the designed depth efficiently.
Different from traditional single mode drilling bits, our DTH top hammer double casing drill bits realize free switching of two drilling technologies. The independent adjustable dual rotary structure ensures high flexibility in on site operation, allowing engineers to adjust drilling parameters and tool states in real time according to soft soil, gravel layer, hard rock and other complex stratums. It guarantees straight hole forming, stable footage and high construction qualification rate, making it an economical and efficient drilling solution for various overburden and deep hole engineering projects.
