The Releasing and Circulating Overshot is simple and rugged and is strongest tool available to externally engage, pack off and pull a fish. The internal catch mechanisms are of two basic types: a basket grapple and a spiral grapple. According to different uses, it may be equipped with some accessories, such as extension sub, wall hook, enlarged guide, etc.
Releasing and circulating overshot is LT-T type special external fishing tool used for fishing drill collar, drill pipe, tubing and other fishes in drilling and work over operation.
