Standard Operating Procedure
Preparation Before Operation
Equipment Inspection: Inspect the entire drilling rig for damage, looseness, or missing components. Check all cables, hydraulic pipes, and air pipes for secure connections and damage. Verify engine oil, coolant, fuel, and hydraulic oil levels. Test control levers, buttons, instruments, and emergency stop button.
Venue and Safety: Ensure work site is solid, level, and free of standing water. Set up warning signs and safety fences. Operators must hold certificates and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Trial Operation: Start engine and idle for 3-5 minutes. Observe instrument readings, equipment sounds, and check for abnormal vibrations or leaks.
During Operation
Drilling Preparation: Install and secure designated drill rods and bits. Adjust drilling rig height and angle for proper vertical alignment.
Drilling Operation: Slowly advance drilling tool with initial slow speed. Monitor torque, speed, and pressure parameters. Perform timely slag discharge to maintain clean borehole.
Operational Precautions: Operators must remain at post during operation. Strictly prohibit overloading and unauthorized operation. Immediately stop machine for any abnormal noise, vibration, odor, or oil leakage.
After Operation Completion
Slow Shutdown: Lift drilling tool out of hole, then turn off engine and control systems in sequence.
Equipment Cleaning and Maintenance: Remove soil and debris from drill rods and rig surface. Perform lubrication and maintenance on rotating parts, chains, and gears.
Storage: Park drilling rig in dry, ventilated, safe area with dust and rain protection.
Venue Restoration: Clean work site, remove safety facilities, and restore original site appearance.
