High Efficiency Mud Pump Drilling Rig For Rock Strata
1. Efficient slag discharge, continuous and stable drilling
The mud pump continuously carries rock debris from the bottom of the well to the surface through high-pressure mud circulation, avoiding repeated fragmentation of rock debris and greatly improving drilling efficiency.
Compared to dry drilling, mud drilling can maintain continuous operation in complex formations, reducing the risks of stuck and buried drilling.
2. Wall protection and collapse prevention, stable hole wall
Mud forms a dense layer of mud on the pore wall, which can effectively seal the pores, prevent the collapse and shrinkage of the pore wall, especially in loose sand layers and flow plastic soil layers.
The static column pressure of the mud can balance the lateral pressure of the formation, prevent groundwater from entering the hole, and ensure the quality of the borehole.
3. Cooling and lubricating drilling tools to extend their lifespan
The high-speed flowing mud can carry away a large amount of heat generated by the drill bit and drill rod during drilling, preventing overheating and wear of the drilling tools.
Simultaneously serving as a lubricant, reducing the frictional resistance between the drilling tool and the hole wall, and extending the service life of the drill bit and drill rod.
4. Strong geological adaptability
It can cope with various strata from soft soil and sand layers to gravel and weathered rocks, especially in large-diameter and deep water well engineering.
Reverse circulation mud drilling is much more efficient than ordinary rotary drilling in gravel and fractured formations, and is the preferred solution under complex geological conditions.
5. High well quality, conducive to subsequent operations
The stable pore wall and uniform pore size provide good conditions for subsequent processes such as downhole casing, gravel filling, and well flushing.
The rock debris and impurities carried by the mud are effectively discharged, reducing sediment in the well and improving the water output and stability after completion.
