The core working principle of BW850/2 mud pump The power machine drives the gear transmission inside the crankcase, converting the rotary motion into the reciprocating motion of the crosshead and piston rod, which drives the piston to advance and retreat alternately within the cylinder liner. When the piston retreats, the volume of the suction chamber in the pump head increases and the pressure decreases, causing the suction valve to open and suck in mud. When the piston advances, the volume of the suction chamber decreases and the pressure increases, causing the suction valve to close and the discharge valve to open, allowing high-pressure mud to be pumped through the pipeline to the drilling site. The dual-cylinder, dual-acting design ensures a more stable displacement. Coupled with a variable speed mechanism that allows for adjustable stroke frequency, it enables switching between different displacements (850/600 L/min) and corresponding pressures (2.0/3.0 MPa), meeting various drilling requirements.
Common fault handling Insufficient displacement / no liquid discharge: Adjust the immersion depth of the suction tap, clear blockages, replace worn pistons/cylinder liners, and tighten seals; Difficulty in operation: Adjust the clearance between the piston and the cylinder liner, and adjust the fit clearance of the connecting rod bearing shell; Significant pressure fluctuation: Check and rectify any faults in the suction and discharge valves.
