The drill pipe joint features tapered pipe threads with a sealing shoulder - the shoulder surface provides sealing while threads handle connection
To enhance connection strength, joint wall thickness is increased through inner thickening, outer thickening, or combined inner and outer thickening methods

Avoid rough handling during loading and unloading to prevent drill pipe from dropping out of the pit
