The linear vibrating fluidized bed, also known as "modified fluidized bed," was designed and developed in the 1960s to address challenges such as dead zones, uneven drying, agglomeration, and caking when traditional fluidized bed dryers process small granular materials. Today, this advanced drying technology is widely utilized across chemical, light industry, pharmaceutical, food processing, plastics, grain and oil, and salt production industries for drying and cooling powder and granular materials.
Working Principle
Vibration motors provide excitation force, causing materials to jump forward on the air distribution plate while making contact with hot air introduced from below. This facilitates efficient heat transfer, vaporizing moisture in the material which is then separated and carried away by the air stream. The dried product discharges from the fluidized bed end, while the hot air temperature decreases due to heat transfer. During this process, expelled moisture and fine materials are collected by a cyclone separator, with exhaust gases emitted by an induced draft fan. Adjusting air intake and vibration parameters enables precise control over product moisture content and system processing capacity.
