The Spin Flash Dryer EcoGuard Series is engineered for manufacturers operating under strict environmental, health and safety (EHS) regulations, integrating drying, pulverizing and sieving in a single fully enclosed unit while prioritizing emission control, operator safety and measurable energy performance.
Hot air enters the drying chamber from the bottom at an optimal velocity, creating a strong rotating airflow that continuously scours the chamber wall with a self-cleaning effect. Material is fed continuously by a screw feeder and rapidly micronized under the high-speed rotating agitator, coming into full contact with hot air for efficient heat and mass transfer. The dried powder is carried upward, passes through a classification ring, and is collected by a cyclone separator and bag filter before the exhaust is directed to the compliance-oriented emission control train.
Extremely fast drying with material residence time of only 5 to 30 seconds; thermal efficiency of 60% to 75%, further improved by optional exhaust heat recovery; single-pass drying of filter-cake and paste materials into finished powder without pretreatment; fully documented emission and safety compliance package reduces permitting time for regulated facilities; modular ATEX and dedusting options allow tailored configuration to local regulatory requirements.
Suitable for chemical (dyes, pigments, catalysts, agrochemical intermediates), pharmaceutical (APIs, excipients) and specialty food ingredient producers in Europe, North America, Japan and South Korea where emission permits, dust explosion safety (ATEX/NFPA 654) and energy reporting are mandatory conditions of plant operation.
