PLG Series Continual Plate Dryer Descriptions Plate dryer is a kind of high effective conducting and continuous drying equipment. Its unique structure and operating principle determine that it has advantages of high heat efficiency, low energy consumption, small occupying area, simple configuration, easy operate and control as well as good operating environment etc. It can be widely used in drying process in the fields of chemical industry. Agricultural chemicals, foodstuff, fodder, process of agricultural and sideline products etc, and is well received by various sectors in their practical usage. Now there are three big categories, named normal pressure, closed and vacuum styles; four types of specification 1200, 1500, 2200 and 3000; and three kinds of materials, namely A(carbon steel), B(stainless steel used for those contact materials part) and C(on the basis of B to add stainless steel materials for vapor pipes, main shaft and support, and stainless steel linings for cylinder body and top cover). With a drying area being from 4 to 180 square metres, now we have hundreds of models of series products and various kinds of auxiliary devices available to meet requirements of drying materials for customers.
Features
(1)Easy regulation and strong applicability.
The drying process can be optimized by adjusting the material layer thickness, spindle speed, rake arm number, rake blade type and size.
Each layer of drying tray can be independently supplied with hot medium or cold medium to heat or cool materials, so that the temperature control of materials is accurate and easy.
The residence time of materials can be adjusted accurately.
The material has a single flow direction, no backmixing phenomenon, uniform drying, stable quality and no need of mixing.
(2)The operation is simple and easy
The operation of starting and stopping the dryer is very simple.
After the feeding is stopped, the rake blade for conveying materials can quickly empty the materials in the dryer.
The equipment can be carefully cleaned and observed through special large-size inspection doors and sight glasses.
(3)low energy consumption
The material layer is very thin, the spindle speed is low, and the power and power consumption of the material conveying system are small.
Drying by conduction heat has high thermal efficiency and low energy consumption.
(4)the operating environment is good, the solvent can be recovered, and the dust emission meets the requirements
Atmospheric pressure: Due to the low air flow velocity in the equipment and the high and low humidity distribution in the equipment, dust is difficult to float to the top of the equipment, so the tail gas discharged from the top moisture outlet contains almost no dust.
Vacuum type: a disc dyer operated under vacuum, especially suitable for drying heat-sensitive materials.
(5)Easy installation and small floor space
The dryer s delivered from the factory and transported as a whole, and only needs to be hoisted and positioned, so the installation and positioning are very easy.
Because of the drying tray layout and vertical installation, even if the drying area is large, the floor area is small.
Application
PLG continuous plate dryer is appropriate for drying, calcining, pyrolysis, cooling, reaction and sublimation in the chemical, pharmaceutical, pesticide, food and agricultural industries. This drying machine is mainly used in the following fields:
Organic chemical products of PVC resin, polytetrafluoroethylene resin, fumaric acid, anthraquinone, nitroanthraquinone, p-aminophenol, melamine, cyanuric acid, sulfanilic acid, antioxidant 168, naphthol, stearic acid, aniline, p-nitroaniline, Double pentaerythritol, paraffn chloride, calcium formate, triethylene diamine, sodium benzenesulphinate, acide isophtalique, thiourea, oil soluble aniline black dyes, acid black dyes and other organic chemical raw materials and intermediates.
Medicine, pesticide, food principen, Deng salt, phenylglycine and intermediates, cefotaxime, ceftriaxone sodium, alnaigin, cimetidine, vitamin B12, vitamin C, medicinal salt, medicinal aluminum hydroxide, magnesium silicate, tea, flower extract, Ginkgo biloba, chocolate powder, starch corn germ, raw materials and pharmaceutical intermediates. Potassium carbonate, potassium fertilizer, protein feed, feed aureomycin, mycelium, bran, grains, grain, seeds, herbicides, cellulose calcium hydrophosphate, etc.

Principle of work
Wet materials are fed continuously to the first drying layer on the top of the dryer. They will be turned and stirred by rakes when the rake arm rotates and drop down to the outer edge of the large drying plate along the exponential helical line. On the small drying plate they will be moved to its outer edge and drop down to the outer edge of the large drying plate underneath, and will be moved inward and drop down from its central hole to the small drying plate on the next layer. Both small and large drying plates are arranged alternately so as materials can go through the whole dryer continuously. The heating media, Which could be informs of saturated steam, hot water or heat conducting oil will be led into hollow drying plates from one end to the other end of the dryer.
The dried materials will drop from the last layer of the drying plate to the bottom layer of the shellbody, and will be moved by rakes to the dischargeport. The moisture escapes from materials and will be removed trom the moist discharge port on the top cover, or sucked out by the vacuum pump on the top cover for vacuum-type plate dryer. The dried materials discharged from the bottom layer can be packed directly.
The drying capability can be raised up if equipped with supplementary devices such as finned heater, condenser for solvent retrieval, bag dust remover, return and mix mechanism for dried materials and drawing fan etc. Solvent in those dried paste and heat sensitive materials can be easily retrieved, and thermal decomposition and reaction can be also carried out.

Principle of work
Fuel is burnedthrough the burner to produce high-temperature gas.The well conducts the heat of high-temperature gas to the heatedair by means of a hot-blast stove with enhanced heat exchange measures,and the temperature of the high-temperature gas is reducedto 250°C after heat dissipation and then discharged into the atmosphere.The air to be heated is forced into the hot blast stove by theselected blower,and the temperature appreciation rating is sent out from the hot blast outlet after heat absorption.When the hot blasttemperature reaches the rated upper limit temperature.The burner will utomaticllystop burning or automaticallyswitch to small flameburning.When the hot air temperature drops to the rated lower imit temperature,the burner wil be re-ignited or switched to large fireburning,and the temperature increase speed can be adjusted by the air inlet valve.
