I. Basic Structure
The XSG rapid rotating flash dryer consists of a hot air furnace, feeding conveyor system, flash drying unit, bag filter, and multi-stage exhaust fan, forming a complete drying and dust collection system.
II. Working Principle
Hot air enters the mixing, crushing, and drying chamber from the bottom of the dryer through an inlet pipe at an appropriate jet velocity, generating strong shearing, lifting, and rotational forces on the material. This causes the material to be fragmented by centrifugal force, shear, collision, and friction, enhancing mass and heat transfer. At the bottom of the dryer, larger and wetter particle clusters are mechanically broken apart by the agitator, while smaller, drier particles are carried upward by the swirling airflow and further dried during their ascent. Due to the rotational flow of the gas-solid mixture, the solid phase has greater inertia than the gas phase, resulting in a high relative velocity between the two phases, which intensifies mass and heat transfer. As a result, this machine achieves high production capacity.
III. Features
1. Multiple feeding devices are available for selection, ensuring continuous and stable feeding without bridging during operation.
2. A special cooling device is installed at the bottom of the dryer to prevent material degradation caused by high temperatures in the lower zone.
3. The drying chamber is equipped with classification rings and cyclone vanes, allowing adjustable product fineness and final moisture content (e.g., calcium carbonate can be dried to ≤0.1% moisture).
The high circumferential gas velocity inside the drying chamber ensures short residence time of the material, effectively preventing wall adhesion and thermal degradation of heat-sensitive materials, enabling efficient, fast, compact equipment with high output.
