Product Description

The XSG series rotary flash dryer uses hot air that enters tangentially at the bottom of the dryer, creating a powerful rotating airflow driven by an agitator. Pasty materials enter the dryer through a screw feeder, where they are dispersed by impact, friction, and shearing forces under the intense action of the high-speed rotating agitator. Lumpy materials are rapidly pulverized, ensuring full contact with the hot air for heating and drying. rotary flash dryer  is widely used in agrochemical industry, food industry, nutriceutical factory, chemical industry, environmental protection industry, new energy industry and so on.

Working principle

Hot air enters tangentially at the bottom of the dryer, creating a powerful rotating airflow driven by the agitator. The paste-like material enters the dryer via a screw feeder. Under the intense action of the high-speed rotating agitator, the material is dispersed by impact, friction, and shearing forces. Lumpy materials are rapidly pulverized, ensuring full contact with the hot air for heating and drying. The dehydrated material rises with the hot airflow. A classifying ring retains large particles, while small particles are discharged from the center of the ring and recovered by a cyclone separator and dust collector. Incompletely dried or large pieces are thrown against the dryer wall by centrifugal force and fall back to the bottom to be pulverized and dried again.

Inorganic Materials: Borax, calcium carbonate, hydroxides, copper sulfate, iron oxide, barium carbonate, antimony trioxide, various metal hydroxides, various heavy metal salts, synthetic cryolite, etc.

Foods: Soy protein, gelatinized starch, distiller's grains, wheat sugar, wheat starch, etc.
