What is DTF transfer adhesive powder and why do I need it?
Good question. Since the development of DTF printers, it's essential to remain stocked with a few key components - and this includes adhesive powder! DTF powder is a type of hot-melt adhesive powder that is used for DTF printing on various fabrics. It helps the printed design stick to the fabric or other material.
DTF adhesive powder works by melting onto the fabric using heat and pressure, creating a smooth and flexible surface for the ink to adhere to. The powder can be sprinkled manually or automatically over the white ink area of the film, and then heated in an oven or a heat press to dry. The film can then be placed on the garment and pressed again to transfer the design.
DTF adhesive powder is compatible with various fabrics, such as cotton, silk, polyester, denim, leather, and blends. It can also print on dark and light fabrics, as well as on uneven surfaces such as pockets and seams. It produces vibrant and vivid colours that are resistant to fading and washing.
