A: No, not directly. This blue ink is the standard "Process Blue" used in four-color printing, serving as a foundational color for color reproduction and mixing. If you require a highly precise spot color (such as a specific blue from the Pantone Matching System), we recommend using our ink as a base and then performing color matching and proofing with professional software, or opting for our spot color ink service.
Q: Will the same blue design look different when printed on cotton versus polyester?
A: There may be a slight variation. Due to the higher absorbency of cotton fibers, colors may appear slightly more subdued and soft. In contrast, the hydrophobic nature of polyester fibers often makes colors appear brighter and more saturated. This is a result of the fabric's inherent physical properties. For orders requiring strict color consistency, we advise conducting test prints on different fabrics first.
Q: Is the blue ink more prone to clogging the printhead? Does it require more frequent cleaning compared to other colors?
A: No, it is not. Its physical stability is consistent with other color inks. Following the printer's normal maintenance cycle (such as daily automatic cleaning during startup and shutdown) is sufficient. The only point to note is that if the printer is idle for an extended period (over one week), it is recommended to flush the blue ink from the ink lines back into the bottle using dedicated cleaning fluid, as its pigment particles may settle slightly more readily than other colors when stagnant.
