1. Definition and working principle of DTF printer
Definition:
DTF is the abbreviation of Direct to Film, that is, direct to film printing technology. DTF printer prints the pattern directly on the PET film through inkjet printing, and then uses hot melt powder and hot press to transfer the pattern to clothing and other substrates.
Working principle:
DTF printer adopts the piezoelectric inkjet printing principle and does not directly contact the surface of the material. The ink is controlled by the internal voltage of the nozzle, and the UV ink is sprayed onto the surface of the PET film, and the ink is cured by ultraviolet rays emitted by the LED lamp. Subsequently, hot melt powder is evenly sprinkled on the pattern, and after high-temperature melting and drying, the pattern is hot-pressed and attached to the substrate such as clothing using a hot press.
