The XYX-3's hydraulic wireline coring system (optional) enables rapid core retrieval without tripping drill rods — a critical advantage at 500-600m depths where rod tripping time can consume hours per run. The diesel engine delivers consistent power through the full depth range, maintaining optimal bit rotation speed and mud circulation pressure even in the deepest section of the hole.
