3.1.Electric driven 75KW/100HP Fixed Pitch Propeller Marine Tunnel Thruster
Electric drive bow thrusters with fixed pitch propeller are available from 250 to 10,750 HP (8.0MW). They are designed for variable speed electric motor input, either DC with SCR control systems or AC with variable frequency drives. Most are used in dynamic positioning applications.
