Product Features
Flanged worm gear-driven triple-eccentric hard-seal butterfly valve, featuring a valve body and disc made entirely of 316 austenitic stainless steel for corrosion resistance, the valve seat is overlaid with high-hardness Stellite cobalt-based alloy, precisely engineered for PN16 nominal pressure and DN500 large-bore applications. It maximizes the three core performance characteristics—corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and long service life—simultaneously, providing a one-time installation, long-term, worry-free fluid control solution for medium-to-high corrosion and high-flow conditions.
Product Advantages
● The valve seat features a gradient sealing design consisting of a “316 stainless steel substrate + Stellite cobalt-based alloy cladding layer.” The cladding process creates a metallurgical-grade bond between the hard alloy and the substrate, resulting in a bond strength far superior to that of inlaid seals. This ensures no risk of delamination or cracking even under long-term thermal cycling and pressure surges.
● The worm gear mechanism provides reliable self-locking performance, securely locking the disc in place at any opening position. Even when subjected to water hammer impacts and pressure fluctuations—common in high-flow pipelines—the disc will not shift unexpectedly. This design meets both on/off control requirements and is suitable for continuous flow regulation applications.
● The valve body and both end flanges are manufactured using an integral casting process, eliminating welded joints and stress concentration points, resulting in superior overall load-bearing capacity. The 316-grade valve body can be directly paired with pipeline flanges of the same material, avoiding the risk of galvanic corrosion caused by dissimilar metal connections. It is particularly suitable for long-term underground or outdoor installation in highly corrosive environments such as seawater and chemical processing applications.
