Product Features
Specifically designed for large-diameter pipelines carrying non-corrosive water, steam, oil, and process gases. The WCB carbon steel body is forged as a single, robust unit; the 24-inch extra-large diameter enables massive throughput, and the 150-lb pressure rating ensures stable and reliable performance. Leveraging the exceptional strength of carbon steel and independent sealing technology via lug-type dead-end seals, this valve serves dual functions. The manual worm gearbox provides long-lasting, leak-free shutoff without the need for power.
Product Advantages
● Equipped with a worm gearbox that significantly amplifies handwheel torque, allowing a single person to open and close the 24-inch large-diameter valve with minimal effort. The self-locking characteristic of the worm gear allows the disc to remain precisely at any opening position without the need for external brakes.
● Each lug is secured directly to the pipeline with short bolts; the bolts do not penetrate the valve body, resulting in a weight significantly lighter than double-flanged valves for 24-inch large-diameter applications. Installation and hoisting are convenient, and pipeline support loads are greatly reduced; it can serve as an independent shut-off valve at the end of a pipeline, eliminating the need for additional blind flange assemblies.
● Features metal-to-metal sealing surfaces combined with high-temperature-resistant, flexible, multi-layer graphite composites, offering both the rigid support of metal and the micro-compensating elasticity of graphite.
