Product Features
316 stainless steel contains 2% to 3% molybdenum, offering significantly better resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion than 304. It provides long-term rust protection, particularly in environments containing chloride ions, weakly acidic media, and humid heat, thereby preventing the butterfly valve disc from rusting and contaminating the medium. WCB (Cast Carbon Steel) offers high strength and rigidity, with an operating temperature range of -29°C to 425°C, and can reliably withstand pressures up to 150 psi. Its casting and welding processes are well-established, making it a cost-effective solution.
Product Advantages
● The hard alloy sealing surface can withstand long-term erosion from solid media such as catalyst particles, pulverized coal, and slurry, with a sealing life far exceeding that of soft seals.
● The wafer connection ensures face-to-face contact between the valve body flange and the pipeline flange, uniformly tightened by multiple sets of bolts, resulting in high connection strength and the ability to reliably withstand higher pipeline pressures and mechanical stresses.
● The triple-offset design ensures that the disc completely disengages from the seat the moment it opens.
