Printing Film Making Imagesetter CTF Machine
1. Application
Laser lmagesetter, also known as the Computer to Film(CTF), it is a printing device thatoutputs high-precision, high-resolution images and text on film or photographic paper. lt ischaracterized by high output precision requirements and large output format.EcooGraphix lmagesetters are with full automatic operation during whole process, gridreverting exactly and high precision resetting and so on. Also it is the ideal choice of large platemaking center, news printing, circuit printing and escutcheon trade.
The CTF Imagesetter is used to process the layout graphics and text with RIP (Raster Image Processor), then scan and expose the photosensitive film line by line with a laser, and then develop/fix it to form a negative for printing (i.e. film). The typical process is: computer processing of graphics and text → through interface and RIP driver → laser modulation and scanning → film exposure → development and fixation → the finished film is used for printing and overprinting.
This process is widely used in offset full color printing plate making, silk screen printing, PCB circuit boards and other fields.
