Digital Robot 2000A is our latest innovation of 'off-line' book binding solution for print-on-demand printing. It features on fully automatic adjustments through touch screen, short changeover time for varied binding formats, exchangeable EVA gluing tank and PUR gluing tank(option), which makes Digital Robot 2000A an ideal post-press solution for short run and print-on-demand digital printing.

Digital Robot 2000A is available for inline connection with digital three-knife trimmer and digital stacker in order to achieve a fully automatic perfect binding line. Through which, even very short runs can be produced quickly and in an economical way.

Quick Setup And High Automation: All setups can be done automatically just by inputting data into the touch screen or via scanning the barcode information of the book block and the cover.

Fast Automatic Changeover: Automatic job changeover can be accurately completed in as short as 10s for changing book thickness and book formats at the fastest speed.

Large Binding Compatibility: Digital Robot 2000A offers strong binding for different kinds of book blocks, such as loose-sheet book block, cold-glued book blocks, sewn book blocks, etc.

Optional PUR Gluing Station: Changeover between EVA and PUR gluing application systems can be easily finished in just a few minutes.

Soft Book Lay-down System: The special designed soft book lay-down system can maximally protect the just bound book spine from any slight deformation.

A touch screen control system
The icon-based 10-inch touch screen enables real-time, automated and precise control, adjustment and monitoring of the Digital Robot 2000A.
Automatic adjustments will be finished within 30 seconds just by inputting the required book format and production parameters into the touch screen.

A book block feeding station
After the book block is fed into the book clamp, vibration will be applied to vibrate the book spine. The height of book block feeding station can be adjusted.

Four automatic adjusted book clamps
The pneumatic controlled book clamps can be automatically adjusted according to the book block thickness.

An automatic adjusted milling station
Opening width of milling pressure plate is automatically adjusted.
Function: milling and notching, brushing.
Milling depth: 0~3mm.
If milling function is not needed, just switch the milling handle to lower the milling station, so that book blocks are not to be milled.

An automatic adjusted moveable spine gluing station
Movable EVA spine gluing tank station offers a convenient and fast way for changeover between PUR gluing application system(option). The spine gluing length and thickness are adjusted automatically.

An automatic adjusted side gluing station
The opening width of two side gluing rollers is automatically adjusted.

An automatic adjusted cover feeding station (quadruple cover scoring)
The side gauges of cover feeding station and position of cover scoring wheels are automatically adjusted. Sensitive double-feed or miss-feed cover defection device is installed to ensure accurate cover feeding.

An automatic adjusted nipping station
The opening width of nipping plates and the width of side gauges are automatically adjusted.

An automatic soft book lay-down system
The soft book lay-down system works as an auto-lift conveyor to receive and transport bound books gently so as to ensure no slight deformation to the book spine during delivery.

A paper dust extractor
Paper waste can be removed by the powerful paper dust extractor to keep the system clean.
