Will this carbon fiber intake fit my 2017-2019 BMW 425i?
Yes. It is designed specifically for the F32/F36 425i with the B48B20A 2.0T engine (2017-2019). Direct bolt-on fit with factory mounting points.
Does it require ECU tuning?
No. It works with the factory ECU. No remapping of ECU/DME is required. A custom tune can maximize gains but is not necessary.
What performance gains can I expect?
Dyno-tested carbon fiber intake systems for the B48 engine show gains of approximately +6 HP and +6 lb-ft at 5000 RPM on a completely stock vehicle. FOGIAGO's carbon intake for the same B48 platform has been dyno-verified at +11.5 PS wheel horsepower and +12.77 Nm torque.
Will it fit other BMW B48 models?
Yes. It also fits F32/F33/F36 420i/430i, F30/F31/F34 320i/330i, F22/F23 220i/230i, and F20/F21 120i/125i with the B48 2.0T engine (2016-2020).
Will it trigger a check engine light?
No, if installed correctly. The MAF sensor housing is designed to factory specifications. Always reconnect the sensor properly.
