304 stainless steel material:
304 stainless steel is a common austenitic stainless steel with good corrosion resistance. It is widely used in industries such as chemical, food, medicine, papermaking, petroleum, atomic energy, as well as construction, kitchen utensils, tableware, vehicles, and various parts of household appliances.
It contains high chromium (about 18%) and nickel (about 8%), which enables it to form a dense chromium oxide protective film in the air, with good oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, and can resist corrosion from most acids, alkalis, and salts.
304 stainless steel also has good processing properties, such as good hot processing properties such as stamping and bending, and no heat treatment hardening phenomenon (non-magnetic, use temperature -196°C~800°C).
At the same time, it has high strength and toughness, as well as good welding performance
Cold rolling process:
Cold rolling is a rolling process performed below the recrystallization temperature. After cold rolling, the surface quality of the steel plate is higher, the flatness is good, the dimensional accuracy is high, and the finish and appearance quality are good.
During the cold rolling process, the steel will produce cold work hardening, resulting in an increase in the strength and hardness of the steel plate, but the toughness and plasticity index may decrease.
Characteristics and applications of 0.5mm thickness and 1219mm width:
0.5mm thickness is a relatively thin specification. This thin plate is relatively light and easy to process and carry.
1219mm width is one of the common standard widths and is widely used in architectural decoration, machinery manufacturing, metal products and other industries.
